Microsoft Office 2023, also known as Office 16, is a personal productivity software version of Microsoft Office. It replaces Office 2013. It was officially released September 22, 2023. At the Ignite conference in Chicago in May 2023, Windows preview was made available to registered users of Office 365. Some new features of Office 2023 included the ability to create, open, edit and save files located in the cloud directly from your desktop, a new search tool, called “Tell Me”, which uses new intelligent commands, available for Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to write in real time together with other users connected to Office Online. This is a vital feature to collaborate with colleagues across locations and even countries.

Other features include Insights – a tool integrated into Bing to obtain information contextualised through the web. New types of Excel charts (such a treemaps or pie charts, cascades charts or histograms) are also available.

Office 2023 has a graphical interface that is almost identical to Office 2013. Office 2023 inherits the same Microsoft graphic language as Office 2013. It is flat-graphic interface but has minor adjustments to adapt to the mobile version.

How do I download and install Microsoft Office 2023

1. After clicking the download button(s), you can finish downloading the files. Depending upon your download speed, it may take anywhere from a few seconds to several hours.

4. Open the “Software Files”, choose the language you want and install the software.
5. Select “Install Office” after which click “OK”. Wait for Office 2023 to finish installing.
6. Once it is finished, go to the “Utilities” tab and then select “Word”. Click exit when they ask you for activation and then exit Microsoft Word.
7. Next, in the utilities tab, select Office RETAIL => VL. Once it finishes (it will say “Completed”) select “Activate Office”.
8. Once you receive the “ACTIVATION SUCCESSFUL” message, you are done!
9. You now have the full version of Microsoft Office 2023, without any limitations, installed on your computer.
